Who introduced you to fly fishing?
David Thompson, a coworker at the time. I had a 13 whaler, and fly fishing lessons were exchanged for on-the -water transport.
Can you tell us a little about your home waters and the fish you pursue there?
I fish the waters surrounding the island of Martha’s Vineyard for Striped bass, Bluefish, Bonito and False Albacore. I can be seen poling my skiff on the flats for striped bass to chasing the pelagic species offshore.
What's the height of the season for you? What time of year is your personal favorite?
My season starts early May and ends late October and it’s full on from start to finish. It’s hard for me to to pick a favorite, because I fish in so many different ways.
What are your favorite travel destinations? What's on the bucket list?
The two travel destinations that I enjoyed the most were Palmyra Atoll and the Amazon. My dream fish is a Dogtooth tuna.
What you like most about Thomas and Thomas rods? Which rods do you fish?
Thomas & Thomas rods are just plain beautiful, from the cork to the guide wraps. I'm not one for the technical stuff, I just enjoy how smooth the rods cast. I fish both Solars and TNT's on my boats.

A Bob Popovics Hollow Fleye.
